Statement of Faith

We Believe

That the Bible is the very Word of God, and is the ultimate rule of faith and obedience;

That the Godhead eternally exists in three persons – The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – and that these three are one God;

In the Deity of Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, and in His personal return in Power and Glory;

That man is born in sin and therefore in need of redemption;

That salvation is solely by grace through repentance and faith in the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross;

That Christ arose from the dead and ascended into heaven to the right hand of the Father where He is now our Interceding High Priest and Only Advocate;

And in the spiritual unity of all believers under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and that they constitute the Church Universal.

LIFE! Christian Broadcasting Network is an independent, non-profit, educational, non-commercial, public television station. LIFE! Christian Broadcasting Network is the only inter-denominational, trilingual (English, Spanish, and Arabic), 24-hour Christian television station in the Southwest. The Station’s purpose is to evangelize the lost, build-up believers and effect change in our world by:

Providing inspiration and hope to those in need and hurting.
To encourage believers.
Reaching every home in our 100-mile radius viewing area with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Providing biblically-based programming as an edifying and alternative viewing choice for Christians and their families.
Blessing the Local Church by supporting pastors and their congregations.
Influencing the Southwest area with righteousness and biblical morality.
Producing excellent quality Spanish Christian programs for its own use and the use of other Spanish stations throughout the United States and Latin America.
Serving as a bridge of love between the Church of Jesus Christ and Israel.

Why We Exist

LIFE! Christian Broadcasting Network is El Paso’s only independent, non-commercial, locally owned and operated, educational public television station broadcasting inter-denominational, trilingual (English, Spanish and Arabic), 24-hour Christian television. We broadcasts daily on four digital channels and is carried on all local and regional cable systems with an average viewership of 15,000-30,000 at any given time in a 100 mile radius spanning 2 countries and 3 states. All funding is provided by program underwriting and donations from businesses, organizations and individuals.

Mission Statement
LIFE! Christian Broadcasting Network exists by God’s grace for the purpose of preparing the way of the Lord. Our mission is to reach every home in El Paso, Juarez, Las Cruces and beyond by providing wholesome, inspirational and educational viewing.

Our Philosophy:
We are an inter-denominational missionary television outreach with the purpose of evangelizing the lost, edifying the saints, and effecting change in our world.

History

Located in El Paso, Texas, LIFE! Christian originally began as KSCE TV back in 1989 by St. Clements Episcopal Church as an evangelistic missionary station given by the church, and then became a non-profit community Christian station serving more than 2.5 million residents in the El Paso, Texas border area; Ciudad Juárez, Mexico; and Las Cruces, New Mexico; as well as residents of other cities to the southeast such as Van Horn, Texas or northwest such as Hatch, New Mexico; as well as many more over the internet.
