In partnership with Temple Mount Sinai, the Interfaith Alliance, and the YWCA Racial Justice Program, EPHM presents, “Community Encounters,” an evening of dinner and dialogue. This community event invites participants to share a meal together, while also sharing their own stories, viewpoints, and perspectives, in an effort to build bridges of understanding with one another and to get to know our community in a richer way.
The theme of the evening is “Community Encounters: Justice.” This discussion will explore questions about justice and compassion, individual and collective social roles and responsibilities, and much more. And EPHM, together with its partners, invites the community to join this enriching conversation in an inviting and welcoming space on a relevant and pressing topic.
The format will be discussion based, with a table facilitator who will help guide the conversation along the theme. The table assignments will be lottery-style for each individual participant. There is no cost to attend, but reservations are required.
